Relationship through PRAYER

What is prayer? Prayer is communicating with God! Prayer is fellowship with the Father.

Prayer is not an event that happens but rather something that happens continuously according to 1 Thessalonians 5:17 “Pray without ceasing.”

Prayer requires a relationship….. A relationship is defined by the amount of time spent. The more you invest time in the relationship, the more fruitful it becomes and the more you know each other better.

A relationship between 2 people differs from other 2 people’s relationship. Which means that you need to find your own uniqueness when communicating with the Father. You need to be vulnerable with God and be open when communicating with Him. Know that God wants the best for you. It is important to be in the Word of God because it assures you of the love of God.

Be in constant fellowship with your Father and be frank with Him. Be honest because He already knows you. Don’t be religious in your prayer life 🙂 Its okay to cry to your Father and its okay to be broken before God.

Treat God like your friend sometimes, David had an amazing relationship with God because he knew how to be vulnerable with Him. He also understood the love of God which is important.

When approaching God know that He loves you, to show that He loves you he says in Jeremiah 33:3 ‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’ Not only does he answer you but He gives you bonuses (This is the love of God, demonstrated)

In order to know how to pray, you need to be rooted in the word of God. David said your word I have hid in my heart so that I may not sin against you (Psalm 119:11). Know the word of God because when you pray, you must pray using the Word. God watches over His word to perform it in our lives (Jeremiah 1:12).

Yes while God watches over His word to perform it in our lives, we must learn to be patient. In the fullness of time that which God has spoken will be fulfilled.

It is also important for us to pray in the Spirit according to Romans 8: 26 In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. 27 And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.

It is also important to pray for others; Ephesians 6:18 Pray in the Spirit at all times, with every kind of prayer and petition. To this end, stay alert with all perseverance in your prayers for all the saints.

Finally brethren while prayer is communication, but there is also a need to be still before God: Psalm 46:10 He says, “Be still, and know that I am God” Know that God has got your back and He knows what you need. Sometimes you just need to be still, still in the middle of a storm and know that He is God and that He has got you covered.

Rest in the promises of God: Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Jesus Loves YOU.

Righteousness of God revealed through FAITH!

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.” Romans 1:16 – 17

The more faith you have in God the more His righteousness is revealed.

We understand that Faith is a muscle and it must be exercised! Which means if you do not exercise the “muscle Faith” in God, the righteousness of God is not revealed to you that much.

Yes you may have faith in God but if you do not practice your faith, you only have minimum or limited access to what God can do in your life.

So as a believer you need to contstantly believe and have faith in God. “The just shall live by faith”

So it’s like this, you believe that God can heal your headache and he heals the headache. So that was faith being exercised which means next time your whole body is aching you will have faith that God can heal your aching body and he heals it.

The rigthousness of God is being revealed to you from Faith to Faith.

The more you believe God (Faith in God), it’s the more the righteousness of God is revealed to you.

Now if your are believing God for R5000 for rent and he provides for it (your faith muscle has been exercised) and you have moved from faith to faith and the righteousness of God has been revealed to you in that area. Next time you will believe God for R100 000 for you to deposit your own house because you have tried God and you have realized that he is Faithful.

Now you pray for someone to receive healing and God heals them.. Your Faith muscle has just been excersized in that area and next time there is a sick person you will not hesitate to pray for that person because you have seen the Faithfulness of God at work and his righteousness has been revealed to you.

So it’s from Faith to Faith! The just shall live by faith..

So as long as you are not exercising your Faith you will never comprehend the righteousness of God and the Faithfulness of God and the Power of God at work in your life.

So long as you are limiting God in your life, you will always think that other people are more favored than you and that they are more powerful then you. It is only your Faith that will help you experience the power of God.

You will always think that certain things are for certain people and not for you because you do not move from Faith to Faith to experience the righteousness of God in your own life.

Faith is the only And remains the only currency that pleases God and makes things happen in your life. If you do not believe God can do something in your life then nothing will happen.

Faith is the activator!

That is why when Jesus was praying for Lazarus, He had Faith and He said I know Father that you hear me. ( He knew and us also we should know that God hears us and that God will answer us and that God will provide that which you ask in Faith) But you need to believe God and Know that the God is is Faithful and that He will Provide.

Jesus says in Mark 11:23 if you say to this mountain be though removed without doubting in your heart,it shall be done.

So when we are in God and we believe that the gospel of Christ is the power of God to salvation and that in it the righteousness of God is revealed from Faith to faith.

Nothing shall be impossible in our lives.

The sooner we remove ourselves from the equation and we put Christ and Faith in God we will have everything we need and desire.

But as long as the Faith is not being exercised we will never see the righteousness of God at work in our lives.

Faith is the currency in the kingdom of God 🙌🏾

Self Leadership

Scripture reference: Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord withall your heart and lean not on your own understanding;  in all your ways submit tohim, and he will make your paths straight.[a]

You need to be able to lead yourself first before attempting to lead others.

So that Means that being a leader is not in a position you hold at church or work or in the society.

This meansyou need to be responsible for yourself fully before being responsible for others.

We cannot expect others to change when we have not yet changed.

Being a self-leader means you ask yourself the tough questions:

  • Am I growing as a person?
  • Am I learning from my mistakes and implementing what I have learned?
  • Do I value myself and hold myself and carry myself with dignity?
  • Am I proud of the person God created me to be and if not what can I change and what is in my area of influence?
  • Am I accountable for my actions? (Do I hold myself accountable for my actions)
  • Am I living out my God given purpose or am I just waking up daily and taking life as it comes?
  • Am I intentional about what I do?
  • Am I growing spiritually? Word Life, Prayer Life and my area of call?
  • If you are a parent, am I loving my children and giving them the time and tending to their needs? Do I know what is happening in their lives currently?
  • If married – Am I supporting my wife/husband the way they want to be supported andneed to be supported? Am I available for them emotionally? Am in a good space emotionally to be able to take care of them? If not what am I doing about it? Do I need to speak to someone, do I need to plan my life better so I can be a goodwife/husband?

There is need to constantly check yourself as a person and always make sure that you are led by God.

God needs to be the center so that when you ask yourself the tough questions, you can answer truthfully and fix where it needs to be fixed assisted by God.

Learn to lead yourself first before leading others, because one cannot pour from an empty cup.

God loves You and wants you to succeed

2 Thessalonians:12 If your life honors the name of Jesus, he will honor you. Grace is behind and through all of this, our God giving himself freely, the Master,Jesus Christ, giving himself freely.

Shut the Open Windows

My Melody

So, yesterday on my way to work I passed through a certain
car that was parked on the side of the road. The owner had forgotten to close the
windows and I felt so helpless that I could not do anything about it. Even
though I wanted to look for the owner, I had nowhere to start. It was off
street parking and our business park is quite big, there is also a possibility that
the owner had visited one of the houses right opposite the park.

As I walked past the car, troubled and hoping that nothing happens. I couldn’t help but think about my other colleague whose car had been stolen on the very same spot. And the Holy Spirit started ministering to me that sometimes we don’t realise that we have been robbed due to our own negligence.

Imagine if the owner of the car that I…

Do Not Be Too Busy For God.

Never be too busy for God – He is the source, stay connected 🙂

Hearing The Preached Word.

Greetings in the name of Jesus Hallelujah,
Today am going to share something that I was probably supposed to share with you long back….But,
God’s time is always perfect.
Am going to share about hearing the preached word. It is only through the word that we can know what God’s plans are for our lives (Jeremiah 29:11)
The fear and the reverance of God can not be attained outside the word of God but in the word of God.
It is therefore very crucial for us to pay very good attention whenever the word is being preached.
It is our ability to receive the word of God that seperates us from the other.
We can be in one church, Gave our lives to Christ together but along our Christian Walk…it is one’s ability to hear and apply the word that determine the pace at which they…

We serve a faithful God! This year He is just ready to Elevate us… Question, Have you positioned yourself to receive from the Lord!

*Archbishop Dr Eunor Guti*

5 February 2017
Braeside Christian Center

*The year of having that we might not lose what we have*

– it is a year of *sufficiency* to every believer
– if God is excited about this church then I need to be rest assured that God is also excited about my life.

*Our father is saying Zaoga FIF is not different from the Israelites under the stewardship of Moses*

God used to show Moses all His expectations from the Lord
The Israelis were His special people *Whom He loved so much*

*The sufficiency for this year is already provided for and we need to walk and partake of such*

_Deuteronomy 10:12 And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you but [reverently] to fear the Lord your God, [that is] to walk in all His ways, and to love Him, and to serve…

Speak to your situation

Ezekiel 37:3-5 “And he said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” And I answered, “O Lord God, you know.” Then he said to me, “Prophesy over these bones, and say to them, O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord. Thus says the Lord God to these bones: Behold, I will cause breath to enter you, and you shall live.”
‭‭You may be feeling like there is no way out of your situation but I hear the voice of the Lord saying to me. Speak to your situation, you have been given the power and authority to speak to your situation.

God is commanding you to speak to your dry bones – speak to your finances! Speak to your addiction! Speak to your fears! Speak to whatever it is that is troubling you or that is dead in your life. Live again, it is not over yet.

You may feel like giving up but speak to your situation… The same resurrection power that resurrected Jesus Christ dwelleth in you and you can rise! You are more powerful then you think.

The book of proverbs tells us that life and death is in the tongue, so this tells me what ever I say with my tongue will either kill me or build me. The choice is mine and it’s yours, Choose Life!

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭18:21‬ ‭ESV‬‬
